The Sugar Caddy was designed by Ira Gilford. It is based on a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado, modified in the "Spoilers" series style.
It was released in 1971 as part of the "Spoilers" series and came with Redline (RL) wheels. This casting is a re-tool of the U.S. version of the 1968 "Custom Eldorado."
As a "Spoiler," it features a large hole cut in the hood to accommodate the exposed, chrome-plated engine that is part of the base. It also has a molded black vinyl roof.
It is part of the "Spoilers" series and is a direct modification of the "Custom Eldorado" from the Original 16.
It was produced in various Spectraflame colors. It is generally considered one of the more difficult-to-find "Spoilers."
