This casting features a large, exposed chrome engine in the front, multiple water cannons, and a short ladder assembly. The original release was in red enamel with "Emergency Squad" and flame tampos. It has a diecast metal body and chassis.

It is similar in theme to other emergency vehicle castings like the "Paramedic" or the later "Rescue Ranger," but its hot rod styling makes it unique among Hot Wheels fire trucks.

Variations and Special Editions:
